- Improving the methodology to make service lifetime estimations of reflector backside coatings by correlating the outdoor test results with accelerated climate chamber tests.
- Design and produce low cost, high reflective and light weight composite heliostat, to meet the ambitious goal posed by the Materials Roadmap and the DOE SunShot program: installed heliostat cost of 68€/m², winds of up to 135 km/h and longevity of more than 30 years,
- Evaluation of two anti-soiling coatings for reflectors regarding dust repellent properties, durability and cost effectiveness through long-term exposure under realistic conditions in Spain and Morocco and accelerated aging tests in climate chambers.
